The Mission Engagement Team is actively collaborating through:

Cultivation within Mission Engagement looks like:

  • Developing programs and resources for local church empowerment through a lens of asset-based community development.

  • Producing a comprehensive mission training program that includes mission team leader, early response team, chaplaincy, advanced team trainings, and district disaster response orientation.

  • Designing and organizing conference-wide events that are aimed at mission learning, community development, and leading crucial conversations around mission, service, outreach, and ministry.

  • Supporting the work of our Conference Missional Collective and various learning cohorts.

  • Assisting the local church and United Methodist agencies with programmatic grants.

  • Studying, exploring, and examining potential future mission partnerships and Advanced Specials.
